About WCS 2026 AI Workshop Series:

The WCS 2026 AI Workshop Series is a quarterly, hands-on learning program designed to help women in cleantech and sustainability build real-world AI literacy, confidence, and practical capability. Across four interactive workshops, participants will learn how to use today’s AI tools to enhance productivity, strengthen decision-making, and expand career impact—without needing a technical background. This series is grounded in applied learning. Every session focuses on tangible skills, live demonstrations, and practical workflows tailored to cleantech and sustainability roles. Participants leave each workshop with tools they can immediately use at work and in their careers.

Who This Is For:

  1. Early- and mid-career professionals in cleantech, climate, energy, and sustainability,

  2. Professionals navigating career transitions or expanding their scope,

  3. Members balancing demanding professional and personal responsibilities,

  4. Anyone seeking to build confident, practical AI fluency

Program Goals:

  1. Build AI literacy and confidence across the WCS community,

  2. Enable participants to deliver tangible outcomes using AI tools,

  3. Foster a supportive community of practice through ongoing peer exchange,

  4. Position WCS as a trusted leader in applied AI skill-building for sustainability professionals

What Makes This Series Distinctive:

  1. Hands-on workshops: Live demos, prompting exercises, and real workflows—not panels or lectures,

  2. Cleantech-focused use cases: AI applied directly to sustainability, climate, and energy work,

  3. Accessible by design: No prior AI or technical experience required,

  4. Community-powered: Participants gain access to a dedicated Slack channel to share prompts, workflows, and learnings,

  5. Leadership development: Sessions are facilitated by a rotating group of WCS leaders and practitioners
