Join us for an exclusive tour of Far West Recycling, a material recovery facility (MRF) where the region’s recyclables are sorted, processed, and prepared for their next life.

During this indoor/outdoor walking tour, you’ll get an up-close look at how their recycling system works and what it takes to turn discarded materials into usable resources.

You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of:

  • How recycling is sorted and processed in real time
  • What truly belongs in the recycling stream (and what doesn’t)
  • How your everyday choices impact waste reduction and the circular economy

This is an eye-opening look at the journey of materials from the curbside bin to their next life as new products.
