An Ocean Breeze Yoga and Meditation with Baran

WCS members are invited to join a free beach yoga session in Santa Monica to stretch, connect with nature, and build community. Spots are limited to 20 participants — reserve your spot before registration fills up!

As conversations around sustainability, climate awareness, and mental wellness continue to grow, outdoor community experiences offer meaningful ways to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with nature and each other. Join Women in Cleantech & Sustainability (WCS) for a community beach yoga session at Santa Monica Beach for a refreshing morning of movement, stretching, mindfulness, and ocean views while connecting with fellow members and supporters. Open to all levels, this session is designed to help you relax, recharge, and build community.

The session will be led by Baran Isik, Yoga Instructor, Meditation Guide & Swim Coach. With a background in artistic gymnastics, Baran brings a holistic, community-centered approach to yoga, mindfulness, and youth coaching. WCS members attend free; non-members are welcome for $15.

Spots are limited to 20 participants — reserve your spot before registration fills up!

Please bring:

  • Yoga mat or beach towel
  • Comfortable workout clothing
  • Water for hydration

Parking Information: Please park and meet us at Lot 5 South, Santa Monica Beach.

Baran Isik

Yoga Meditation Instructor

Baran Isik is a wellness instructor passionate about movement, mindfulness, and connection with nature. His journey began with artistic gymnastics at age 14, which later led him to focus on yoga and meditation to deepen flexibility, concentration, and wellbeing. For the past three years, Baran has been teaching and guiding individuals through yoga and mindfulness practices while also working as a lifeguard and swim coach, bringing a holistic and community-centered approach to wellness.
