Meet the Speakers

Christina Nichols
Executive Director, Renewables Forward

Christina Nichols leads Renewables Forward, a cross-industry organization committed to driving action for a just economic transition to clean energy, founded on inclusion, equity, and diversity. Nichols has worked in the clean energy industry for nearly 40 years, designing and leading programs to advance energy efficiency and renewable energy at the local, state, and national levels. She previously served as the Green Jobs Advisor for Secretary Solis (Department of Labor) before joining the Department of Energy (DOE), where she created Solar Ready Vets, Veterans in Energy and led market transformation, workforce programming, and economic research within DOE’s Solar Energy Technology Office. She later served as DOE’s Workforce Director under Secretary Ernest Moniz. She holds a BA from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

KC Rose
VP of HR, Terrasmart

KC is the Vice President of HR for Terrasmart and has over 18 years of HR leadership experience. She has supported all different industries, from Pharma, CPG, Aerospace and Defense, and Media to Renewable Energy. One thing is true in all companies: We as leaders must focus on our people, their talents, and their passions!
