Sara Simmonds

Sara Simmonds is a prominent figure in impact innovation, recognized for her work as the former Head Buyer at Harvey Nichols and River Island. She founded the Impact Innovator Mastermind Framework, which assists business owners in leading with purpose during a time when consumers seek meaningful experiences rather than just more products.

Voted the top speaker at The Sustainability Show and identified as a key expert in sustainability by Informa, Sara serves on the advisory boards of the British Beauty Council Sustainability Coalition and The Sustainability Show. She has also been invited to judge the 2024 Marie Claire Sustainability Awards.

Sara’s career highlights include becoming a buyer for Harvey Nichols at just 25 and founding Sharkah Chakra, a sustainable jeans brand, at 28, which earned her the title of Impact Entrepreneur of the Year from Grazia Magazine. After selling the technology behind her brand, she managed a £100 million buying department for River Island, using her "Hero Product" roadmap to reduce waste and double sales.

Her Impact Innovator Mastermind method helps entrepreneurs enhance profitability while positively impacting society. In 18 months, it has generated over $10 million in additional revenue for 50 business owners, benefiting more than 15,000 people globally.
