Join Women in Cleantech & Sustainability for a special Women’s Day virtual talk with musician and activist Madame Gandhi. This inspiring event will explore the intersection of eco-feminism, art, and climate action, featuring Madame Gandhi’s powerful work transforming the sounds of melting glaciers into music.

Through this thought-provoking conversation, we’ll discuss the role of women’s voices in environmental activism, the impact of art in driving change, and the urgency of climate action. The talk will be followed by a 20-minute interactive Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to engage directly with Madame Gandhi.

This event also serves as a fundraiser for LA fire relief, supporting those affected by recent wildfires. Join us for a morning of music, activism, and inspiration.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to engage, learn, and support a great cause!

Meet Madame Gandhi

Kiran Gandhi, known as Madame Gandhi, is an award-winning artist and activist celebrated for her uplifting electronic music and advocacy for gender liberation and personal power. She began producing music in 2015 after her viral experience of running the London Marathon while free-bleeding to challenge menstrual stigma. She has been recognized as a TED Fellow and included in Forbes' 30 Under 30 in Music.

In 2022, while pursuing her Master's in Music, Science, and Technology at Stanford University, she traveled to Antarctica to record the sounds of melting glaciers to raise climate change awareness. These recordings are featured in her song “In Purpose,” which credits NATURE as an artist, allowing it to receive streaming royalties as part of Earth Percent's Sounds Right initiative.

In June 2023, she received the Abe Olman Prize from the Songwriter's Hall of Fame and the Jury Award at SXSW for her music video "Waiting For Me." Today, Madame Gandhi continues to travel internationally to speak, DJ, and perform, using her platform to promote personal expression, sustainability, and thriving.
