With climate action in the spotlight and political uncertainty shaping priorities, getting funding for clean energy and sustainability projects is both more urgent and more complicated than ever. This event will bring together financial leaders and sustainability experts to talk about how money is moving into climate-focused projects in NYC, and what hurdles companies and nonprofits face when trying to secure funding.

Panelists from banks, investment firms, and other financial institutions will share how they are prioritizing climate investments in today’s landscape. We will also hear from founders and nonprofit leaders about the real challenges of raising capital right now, from changing government policies to tough ESG requirements and risk-averse investors.

Topics include:

  • Where climate investment is growing and why

  • How federal and state policies are affecting funding

  • The biggest roadblocks to getting financing for climate projects

  • How ESG requirements are influencing investment decisions

  • Examples of successful funding partnerships in NYC
