This interactive session will be led by Chang Xu, Partner at Basis Set Ventures, and Katelyn Milinowicz, former Google technical leader now focused on advancing climate technology.

Chang Xu

Partner, Basis Set

Chang Xu specializes in AI infrastructure and applications, with a passion for exploring ML research and identifying transformative market opportunities. She co-founded Onion Academy, an edtech startup in China that raised $90M, and was the first Product Manager at Minerva Project, fueling her love for startups and innovation. A lifelong strategist, she placed #5 nationally in AMC math competitions and approaches problems through iteration and pattern-finding. At Harvard, she studied applied math, economics, and computer science, focusing on game theory. Outside of work, she enjoys strategy games and once completed a 266-piece all-white puzzle — a testament to her persistence and vision.

 

 

 

 

 

Katelyn Milinowicz

Sustainability Consultant, Seed Consulting Group

Katelyn Milinowicz is a former Google technical leader who has recently pivoted to climate work after two decades in tech. She now develops carbon market methodologies and advises early-stage climate tech organizations. Having recognized the power that AI can offer, she has become passionate about empowering women to leverage AI tools, not only in support of sustainability, but also to ensure women are knowledgeable stakeholders in how AI evolves.

Sadia Raveendran is an energy and cleantech professional, problem-solver, and leader with 15+ years of experience across regions, functions, and technologies. She previously led Industry Solutions and the Schneider Electric partnership at AutoGrid (later Uplight), selling grid flexibility solutions to global utilities. She also enabled the deployment of utility-scale solar and wind capacity through prior stints at GE Renewable Energy (now GE Vernova) and Tata Power. Now, as part of the founding team at a stealth startup, she is tackling AI datacenter capacity challenges to power the next phase of growth.
